About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Making poor choices for good stories.
ABOUT ME
I am a frood who really knows where his towel is.
I make many poor choices for the sake of a good story.
I love books, Sriracha sauce, and fine beer. I am perpetually fascinated by strange things. Currently: beekeeping and candlemaking.
I sometimes forget that I am a vegetarian.
Concert-going is a favorite passtime, which I will hate myself for when I am 55 and deaf. But right now... rock n' roll!
Until the age of 10, I thought that the only kind of music was Jimmy Buffett music. I am better now.
PHILOSOPHY
I think nature is pretty, spicy food is delicious, and violence is bad.
There are a bunch of weird folks out there, and I want to meet you all.
Tragedy is the disappearance of the frontier.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Friends speak very highly of this wacky thing, and I would love to host and surf. Y'all seem like a ton o' fun.
Interests
I homebrew beer, make scented candles, and do standup comedy.
Beekeeping seems fascinating, and I am looking to learn. Circuses are just about the best thing ever.

Music, Movies, and Books
Henry Thoreau is the most important writer in my life. I must go into the woods to live deliberately.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once kayaked with a pod of Orca whales while the sun set over the San Juan Islands and the sky erupted in divine shades of purple and orange. It was magnificent.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would be a perfectly adequate instructor in the following matters:
-Homebrewing beer.
-Economics
-19th century anarchist thought.
