ABOUT ME

Hi I'm Ian 27yr old from Watford. After 8 years in the same job I have decided to get off my backside, and to actually do something that I will enjoy and benefit from. ******recently qualified as a member of cabin crew****** I can't wait to get couchsurfing and aim to travel as much as possible throughout the coming year, in betweeen searching out a new career in order to save up for some long term travelling. I can't wait to enjoy all the experiences that this site will hopefully bring.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Primarily this year, I will be travelling and surfing the couches of others, but hopefully I will be able to bring something to those I stay with. From time to time, there may be room available at my place, but am currently cooped up with the parents whilst i save my pennies!!!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Check out my cousin (ID: Bratty101) whos couch I surfed last year in Manchester. Both Mark and Ruth are a lovely couple (not that i am biased!) and will definately make you feel more than welcome in their home, which is situated in a lovely part of Manchester.

Interests

I enjoy reading, fishing, going to music concerts, cinema and films. I am also a football fan (Watford FC), And more to the point the main reason why most people are here, I love meeting new people seeing different places.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love all sorts of film: Cool Runnings, Scarface, Ferris Buellers Day Off, Top Gun, Star Wars, The Big Lebowski. Also have a varied Music interest: Counting Crows, Ugly Kid Joe, Ocean Colour Scene, Nirvana, Jamiroquai, Jet, Goo Goo Dolls, Chili Peppers to name but a few. Two books I am currently reading: Bill Bryson - A Short History Of Nearly Everything & Robert Rankin - Knees Up Mother Earth

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

November 2006 - walked across hot coals for charity.
July 1997 - Three peaks Challenge (climbed the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales)
