Hello,
I'm a mature Aussie guy with many and varied skills.
I am honest, reliable and like meeting new people and enjoying life.
I have building and related skills to offer and prefer to be fully occupied on projects that I can use my skills to achieve results. I have a rural background and have built fences, sheds, extensions, driven tractors and all sorts of vehicles and a have good diesel mechanical skills. I have owner built two homes and renovated many rental places over a period of time.
I can operate all sorts of machinery and tools. My skills are best used for someone wanting help with a building or project.
My typical stay is a week/10 days which may seem short but I suggest that I will accomplish more than expected.
My career is yachting and sailing and I love the ocean however I also have strong affinity with the land and nature.
I have traveled extensively and have a good understanding of cultural sensitivities.

I have re-shingled a roof, sawn wood and general yard-work in Nova Scotia. Repaired a well and constructed a well cover in Colorado, Painted and restored the interior kitchen in Florida and landscaped and done major garden renovation in Florida.
This is in addition to the countless jobs and activities throughout the years I have undertaken working in the outback on cattle and grain properties, renovating a set of units and owner building my own homes.
I also am proficient in electrical work as long as its not too complicated, woodwork and repairing mechanical items.
I have a go at almost anything and use my common sense to fix most things.

I'm on couchsurfing to get to meet people and share my experiences with them.
I am a good conversationalist and can speak informatively about yachting, sailing, boats and a variety of destinations around the world that I have sailed to.
I also have a lot of business and marketing experience and am happy to chat about ideas and strategies.
I love to inspire people to be the best they can be and take the opportunities as they unfold.
If I can contribute to energising someone to follow their dream, then I have succeeded.
I want to spend time with good people who are sharing their home and in turn reciprocate my hope and open up to visitors
