Sobre mí

I am a student in college at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott studying physics. I am pursuing goals in research and development in quantum computers and other nanotechnologies. I love working with my hands, and love working on cars, and doing occasional projects around the house. I love doing physics experiments and wonder if that will be a career possibility in the future! Much of my career has been learning to fly airplanes, but I have since made it my hobby, and not my career, after changing to a career in physics. I now fly hang gliders as a hobby and am hoping to be able to teach others how to fly when I am not doing other work. I enjoy learning new things and I hope to be a business owner someday along with reaching my full scientific goals and potential.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and see new places, of course! After doing something called The Landmark Forum, I realized how closed off I was to other people, even my family and closest friends. This is my opportunity to revitalize my true self as being a genuinely caring and open person to people that I meet in the world. In a sense, this is outside of my comfort zone, and I am excited for what new possibilities can come from exploring the world. Along with being a cheaper way to travel, I believe that building friendships and getting to know people around the world is worth much more than some monotonous vacation at a fancy hotel where nobody talks to each other. I am in this for the human experience, for connecting with people, and living outside the box I have defined in my head, even if it is a little scary for me!

Algo increíble que he hecho

I have flown a hang glider for over 3 hours, been to 17.9k feet, and flown a distance of over 30 miles in a single flight!

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I am a certified hang gliding instructor and teach basic level physics labs. I want to learn a new language and how to be open and honest with the people I meet, i.e. not reserved and shy. I hope to share all my flying experience and life experience having lived in Los Angeles for 18 years.
