About Me

ABOUT ME

I live in Toronto and work as a cinematographer. I enjoy the collaborative process that brings together cool creatives of different disciplines to make a body of work.

I have a lovely girlfriend who has a cute little puppy.

PHILOSOPHY

Uniquely in us, nature opens her eyes and sees that she exists.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking to couch surf while travelling around Europe in July 2012.
I am open to the right people who are looking for a couch here in Toronto.
I share my house with my girlfriend, her puppy and two other pals.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had no experience with this website, but I have couch surfed around british columbia a few times. I know how to be a good house guest, keep things clean, stay out of the way when needed.

After graduating college I lived on couches with many great friends for 15 months while figuring out how to work as a cinematographer.

Interests

Visuals, Pizza, Dogs, Hammocks, Interesting weather patterns. Exploring on bikes. Swimming & Surfing when possible.

I've been snowboarding since 1999 and truly love it. I dream of kicking out methods and going super fast.

Music, Movies, and Books

I come from a musical family and have always been able to pick up an instrument and play along. Best with a guitar or violin.
I like folky music and surf influenced rock and roll. I think Hemingway is the best and enjoy the pop art of a well conceived music videos.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I make a living doing what I love. I've spent a lot of time swimming in lakes. I once made a sandwich with an entire loaf of bread.

Teach, Learn, Share

I work professionally as a cinematographer so I enjoy sharing in the discusion of the craft. I have a unique appreciation for the qualities of light and the philosophies associated with the presence of the lens.

I'm keen on the collaboration of film and music and enjoy both documentary pieces as well as in your face music videos that entertain an internet audience.

I like commercials!

I love cooking and exploring new terrain. It's exciting finding hidden little places of beauty and being able to share them with friends.
