Massively interested in traveling. Born and raised in Scotland, I have also lived in Portugal and New Zealand and more than open to suggestions for the next place. Would love to be able to show people around Edinburgh, as well as meet up with others whilst I am traveling.

兴趣

I make films and documentaries in my spare time and work as a freelance writer. Politics nerd. Involved in Scottish politics but very interested in learning about current affairs around the world. Slightly obsessed with Russia and the Caucasus in particular for no obvious reason. I also love attending cultural festivals - having the Edinburgh Fringe on my doorstep every year has spoiled me and I always like to be involved with that somehow.

I can be quite pretentious with films. I struggle to name favourites but if I had to pick, say, five I would say Psycho, Good Bye Lenin, Hunt For The Wilderpeople, Donnie Darko and the Lion King.
FAVOURITE FILM EVER is Fargo because, come on, it's amazing.
I have quite a wide music taste. I tend to lean towards Indie Rock but really I'll learn to love any music. Loving Sigur Ros, Lana Del Rey and Glass Animals at the moment.
I don't read as much as I should. Favourite book is 1984 by George Orwell.

I lived with a retiree hippy commune in NZ near Golden Bay and it was quite an experience. I've probably done more amazing things than that, but that's always the first that comes to mind.

I want to learn about your culture. I also love filming and photographing places that are completely off the beaten path. I enjoy sharing information about Scotland and helping others with filmy type projects. I also really love letting people discover the simple joys of an amazing cup of coffee and can make you the greatest cup you will ever taste - probably.
