About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To boldly go where others have gone before. And say hello.
ABOUT ME
I'm easy going, sometimes quiet and sometimes chatty, but I always try to be friendly and open minded and have a laugh with everyone. I'm interested in learning, not judging. I cant stand people who are intolerant. (joke)
PHILOSOPHY
"Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies—God damn it, you've got to be kind." (Kurt Vonnegut)
I'm not saying I always manage to remember this in my own life, but you've got to hand it to Kurt Vonnegut, you cant sum things up much better than this.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Meeting people for coffee or drinks and/or hosting them on our couch.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met some great people while couchsurfing, eg when visiting Morocco, Amsterdam and Berlin. I've hosted people when I lived in Guildford with fellow couchsurfers too and usually enjoyed that just as much or more than when I've been travelling myself - it's a great way to meet interesting people and explore what your own neighbourhood has to offer too. I'm also lucky enough to have developed a few good friendships with people that I first met through couchsurfing. What more could you ask for?
Interests
Mainly being open to everything, but a few examples would be good people, good places (with good people), good books (psychology, sociology), good films (international ones) good music ('good' can be pretty much any genre), and tea (any tea).
Oh, and I'm a vegetarian too, but not a strict one
