CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
I lived in Manchester most of my life, except for while studying film in south Wales. Now I'm a video editor, living in a countryside town. I try to be positive as much as possible. I'm polite, and I am rarely late.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I first experienced Couchsurfing while visiting Japan in 2011, where I surfed four excellent homes (one of them impromptu), and met countless others both through word of mouth and organised events. I didn't meet a couchsurfer I didn`t like!
Unfortunately after that I didn't host anyone myself, but in 2015 with my now-wife Hannah I walked across Europe, aided by dozens of wonderful couchsurfers who reminded me that really there's no reason not to have people around. It absolutely enriches your experience of a place that you're passing through. I have given people the tour of Manchester a number of times, and that can give the feeling of being on holiday yourself.
Now, you can come to our house in Todmorden, please!
Interests
Lately I've slowed down a little in going to gigs/watching movies to draw comics. But I still do plenty of the others. Big reading list, lots of things to see around the country and city. Mountains and rivers. Nice lunches. Cheese.
