Each day, I wake, leap out of bed like a happy cornflakes advert and scream "Yes!".

Well, every now and again I do anyway.

Fascinating fact: If you stare at a wall intently for 37 seconds with the absolute conviction that it should transform into a coconut - guess what? Nothing happens at all. Bet you never knew that?

In reality, I'm a relaxed and laid back person who loves nothing more than sitting back with a good book. Or, having a few beers, shooting some pool and having a laugh.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because if you're travelling somewhere alone for a long time, it's a useful way of getting to know someone who knows the local area. And vice versa, if you are ever in Liverpool, give me a shout and I'll do my best to help you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped on a plane to Jakarta, Indonesia, completely alone and booked into a hotel for 3 weeks. Met some great people and got a job as the Business Development Director for a local magazine and stayed for another 18 months
