About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Defend the sweet especial rural scene.

ABOUT ME

I'm a reader and writer, lover of music, I'm kind-eyed and pleasant, unrisable but for joy. My favorite things include singing "My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music while making lists of my favorite things, bounding, nun-watching, moseying and/or sauntering and observing contained bodies of water. I am, by trade, a land surveyor currently struggling with certain bureaucratic entanglements. I am, by vocation, bureaucratic entanglements currently struggling with a certain land surveyor.

PHILOSOPHY

Love-giving, merging thought and thing, overcoming.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had the pleasure to meet a lot of couchsurfers in San Francisco. My participation heretofore has usually consisted of bringing the alcohol. I haven't hosted yet being constantly on the road, but hope to once I get a bit settled.

Interests

Music and books! Conversation, walking, pacing, napping. Nature, engagement, thinking, benign mindlessness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hunted down my father's childhood friend and reconnected them, finding out in the process that one had completely determined the course of the other's life, even though they hadn't seen each other in 50 years. Still waiting for a call from Lifetime to get a movie of the week.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some German, or piano, or obscure facts about obscure things.
