About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be a man, do the right thing.

ABOUT ME

When I find myself in a new town for some period of time, I like to find the best local diner/cafe/taqueria/bistro and find something that they serve that you cannot find anywhere else, or something they do exceptionally well. It is the same for the culture, the activities and the music - I travel to see what it is that you do, not do what I do elsewhere.

PHILOSOPHY

That inside each of us there is a consciousness that helps us understand what is right and what is easy. We always have the choice to listen to or ignore that voice - that is what makes us human. And that's OK. All things happen for a reason, sometimes ignoring that voice and hurting ourselves is the best thing that ever happened to us. The best thing one can do is make the best of what you've got with the time you have.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By acting as a tour guide in Chicago, USA, or coffee, site seeing and transmitting the friendly feel of my hometown. I would like to couch host someday, though not until I get more accommodating roommates!

Music, Movies, and Books

Haha, see above. I do like art that tells a story of change, where the human nature of failure, self-examination and change is the central theme. Other times, I like to see things explode. Usually, I like both.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have had the wonderful experience of photographing wild cheetah in Ngorogoro crater, Tanzania with my grandmother.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to parse most systems into a set of simple algebraic equations and solve them. I can teach you how to make delicious chili without using meat. I can teach you how an animal senses your fears. I can share with you that I too, know what it means to be human.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Tanzania

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
