About Me
Spent the last couple years traveling all over Canada, everywhere except the east coast so far. I have met some amazing people along the way and was introduced to this site by some of them! Worked as a cook, or in kitchens for most of my working life. I love movies, once wanted to be a director. Other than that I enjoy good beer, good people, and good conversation!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people of course. The best thing about traveling, especially traveling alone, is the people you end up meeting out of pure coincidence and becoming friends with.
Interests
Movies, documentaries, anything about Egypt! I try to follow current events as much as I can. I Cooking as well, as long as I'm doing it for someone else.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music is anything from solo acoustic guitar to Nirvana to Kid cudi to System of a Down, pretty much anything really. (I can even survive around country) Movies is too long a list to make properly so I'll go with some favorites. Pans labyrinth, pulp fiction, Donnie darko, requiem for a dream.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I guess I would have to say going to Canada's north, in the Yukon. Its absolutely beautiful, and you get two months of straight sunlight without night in the summer. But more than that its the people, and the feeling there. Time seems to move slower and there's nowhere easier to meet people. I met many of my closest friends there.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Any help I can offer! Professional cook so of any help is needed in that area I would be more than willing.
Countries I’ve Visited
Denmark, England
