CS requests: please read everything about 'My Home'. I tried to make this 'About Me' section informative and fun, but it's not really that important unless you want to make sure I'm not some creepy person - and that's what the references are for anyways.

i like to smile and laugh so i do it very often. i try to get other people to join in. this is not always successful but that is okay.

i am very laid-back. it is hard to find me in a bad mood or stressed. unless i'm tired. then i complain a lot.

i listen to music. a lot. but never on headphones when other people are around - that is a little rude.

i like cooking but i am not experimental enough.
i love art but i can't draw (at all).

sometimes i explain things in too much detail because i think communication is important. then my friends tell me to close my mouth.

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

initially, I joined because I was going to Paris for a concert and didn't have the money for a hostel. my experience with my hosts there (one of whom had never done anything with CS before either) was so good that I started hosting people at my place in Edinburgh. I have never had a bad, boring or average CS experience, only great ones. I know that this is surely linked to the many ways in which I am privileged (sex, gender & preference, class, race, etc), but still.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

mostly hosting in Edinburgh and Montreal... about 55 days total.

surfed in Paris, New York City, Cuenca, Buenos Aires & Tucuman ~4 weeks total
