About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life how it comes and enjoy the moment.
ABOUT ME
I'm a pretty laid back person always up for a plan. Originally from France I've lived in the Philippines, Poland and the UK, where I finished my studies and now work as an engineer. I'm naturally a very curious person and I like meeting people who enjoy sharing their passion.
I'm good at sports in general and as any respectable french person good at cooking. I enjoy organising social dinners with friends. Sushi nights are my favourite!
Bike is my passion that follows me everywhere I go. I just can't stand sitting in public transport with all those people only minding their newspaper or iphone. Whenever I've a bit of time I take my bike and hurtle down Cardiff's streets. They are some amazing hidden places around here which I would be more than happy to show.
I also regularly go surfing and slacklining.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is like riding a bicycle... To keep your balance you must keep moving.
It's what not what we do. It's what we believe.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I believe CouchSurfing is a revolution in the backpacking world and I'm dedicated to spread out the word so that hopefully one day, we could live in a world where a Couchsurfer would be in every corner of our cities ready to be contacted.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Started CouchSurfing in India, and since then can't think of a better way to travel! Met great people, explored the Indian culture from a local perspective, had so much fun! In one work: AMAZING

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: The kind of movies that twist your mind so much than you're still thinking about it when you go to bed: Inception, Shutter Island, Black Swan, etc..
Music: A bit of everything depending on my mood but I particularly like these ones: the Strokes, Phoenix, Parov Stellar, Ratatat, Cafe Del Mar, and all the commercial shit
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Among others... Star gazing in pitch black darkness in the middle of the Rajastan desert
Teach, Learn, Share
I've been part of Engineers Without Borders UK for 2 years and the most important thing I've learn about the international development sector is that developing countries do not need young volunteers coming from the developed world. They end up taking jobs of the locals, and their cultural and professional inexperience often lead to greater harm. Young volunteers can make a much greater impact through raising awareness and mobilizing funds in their own country.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Bike rides around Cardiff (I have spare bikes). Show Cardiff's from the perspective of a french person who has been calling the city home for 7 years.
