About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Uniting with fate.

ABOUT ME

I was 14.

I went looking for my treasure.

PHILOSOPHY

Letting fate lead me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently don't have permanent city to live, never mind an apartment or flat.
Since I'm constantly on the road, I tend to meet people via CS, through meetings or drinks. I also surf when it feels right to do so, not only when I'm broke, which also happens at times.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's always been about the people.

Sometimes I've slept on comfortable and luxurious king size beds, other times on patchy hammocks and getting bitten by mosquitos but in the end it was the person(in my case, the hosts) who made that experience worthwhile, at times unwittingly, nevertheless worthwhile.

Music, Movies, and Books

A house in the sky - Amanda Lindhout

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The wild-sea-life in the Falkland Islands was phenomenal.
I cycled a bit of the Danube river, made me appreciate how special it really is.
Quirimbas Archipelago in Mozambique were full of life, in every possible colour imaginable.
The people of Zambia.
Bungee jumping 111 metres off the Victoria Falls bridge between two countries.
Table mountain in Cape Town with the blanket is awesome.
I saw a Bald Eagle soaring, scanning the sky for food at the Grand Canyons.
Drove from New York to San Diego with a friend and
Skatingboarding from Venice Beach to Santa Monica.
The fusion of feelings that are excitement, confusion and fear when you arrive in a new unfamiliar territory/city/country/culture.
Kutti Beach in Sydney is a hidden away gem. A smaller, yet better, combined version of Bondi and Manly beach.

Teach, Learn, Share

Story telling. I can't do it.... without hyperbole.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Clean dishes or food poisoning.
An anecdote about my travelling adventures.
