About Me

23. Call me Annie! Colombian girl living the dream. Currently traveling the world. Degree in audiovisual communication minor in psychology. I write for a living about culture arts and lifestyle. I consider myself very open minded. Probably my biggest passion is learning about everything, and that's why I consider traveling the best way to learn.. I love meeting new people and have conversations about any topic ever. There is something to learn from everyone and I want to learn as much as I can. I'm organized, clean and responsible. I enjoy parties, sure, but silence is my best friend.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Basically because I think that's the best way to meet new people. I love to travel by myself, so I need pals around to guide me in their cities, what a better way than a nice host?

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Everything Tarantino and Woody Allen. What a combination, huh? Reservoir Dogs if I have to pick one from Tarantino (yes, over Pulp Fiction. And I love that one too) and Annie Hall from Woody. I also enjoy foreign movies. I love french ones, Le Prénom is my favorite one. From my country probably Sofia y el Terco and El Abrazo de La Serpiente. Not horror movies allowed.

Music: All way round from classic rock to EDM. From punk to reggaeton. British are my favorites (Oasis, The Smiths, Blur, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks, Kasabian, Coldplay, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Gorillaz, Keane, Radiohead, The Cure). From Colombia: Monsieur Periné.

Books - My favorite one is Hector Abad Faciolince. I've probably read every book he's written. Julio Cortázar is a big favorite too.
