About Me

23 and married. Working as a bartender a brewery and a medical scribe in a Family Practice office. Both my wife and I are currently applying to doctoral programs (MD for me and PhD for her). I spend most of my time rock climbing, reading, mountain biking, writing poetry, and working.

I believe each interaction and each person contributes something new and offers wisdom that no one else has. Further, I think all of humanity is unified by a single desire for purpose and belonging. I am inspired by the opportunity to discover where purpose is found for others. Interests to me are mere cogs in a greater mechanism that unifies every human being. I am very passionate about culture and would love to share stories!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have an incredibly motivated friend from Haiti who let me be a part of his 10 day mission trip in and around the villages of Miragoane, Haiti in which we got to provide 600+ patients with eyeglasses. During that trip, I was almost killed by rioters and lost 20 lbs from a two week bout with two separate parasites.

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to learn about every aspect of culture I encounter and, in doing so, learn more about myself and humanity in general.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I do not have a home to offer at the moment as my college tenant is pretty strict on that, but if you are ever in the Anderson area or need any advice about Indiana travel/ indianapolis, I would love to help!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Canada, Chile, Ecuador, Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico
