ABOUT ME

I graduated from IU in December of 2008. I was a bike mechanic for a year and a half or so until my shop got sold to a jerk at which point I got a job as a researcher that somewhat utilizes my degree. I plan to go to school for Landscape Architecture in the next few years and between now and then I want to bike tour around Europe starting in Berlin.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just started. A friend of mine had the nicest girl stay on her couch and she hung out with us and we all had a blast. After that I was sold.

Interests

Bicycles, bicycling (road and mountain), rock climbing, snowboarding, homebrewing, bluegrass (listening and picking), cooking, camping, urban planning and design, landscape architecture, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My family and I once hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back out in 3 days, drove through the night and skied the next day in Telluride. Best vacation ever.
