About Me
Hi! I am a Miami born Chilean-American who loves learning and reading as much as I love traveling and getting to know all kinds of people. My interests include continental philosophy , contemporary art, learning languages, cooking different cuisines, doing yoga alone in my room, going drinking or dancing with friends, as well as a quiet night in one on one over wine and stimulating conversation. I hope to be able to use my background in art and theory to inspire the new generation of cultural activists for a brighter, more beautiful, and more just world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling simply isn't the same without a local connection of some kind. This is why I often travel alone, forcing myself to interact with locals, listen, and leave your cultural baggage behind as much as possible.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love independent, French, and Latin American film. I love latin pop, jazz, bossa nova, techno, tabla drums, experimental/ambient, and more. My favorite books are Spinoza's Ethics, Nietzsche's Gay Science, and any anthology by Rumi or Sappho.
