To get out of my bubble and see some of this big planet while I am fortunate enough to have the chance to do so.

ABOUT ME

I'm a funny easy going guy, quick with a joke (normally at my own expense), who likes to meet new people and have a good time.
While normally goofy, I know how to buckle down and get things done and am jokingly referred to as "Dad" by my friends because I'm the responsible one in the group.
I want to travel to meet new people and also to share new places with old friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Have some core beliefs but be open to new things. Take everything in stride and don't sweat the small stuff, especially while travelling around. Set aside some time everyday to reflect on the past and plan for the future and take stock in life.

Interests

I'm an avid reader of anything from fantasy to science fiction, historical and even how-to. Cooking is another passion of mine. Though by no means a master chef, I love trying new recipes and different dishes from around the world. When not reading or eating, I can normally be found learning to play guitar, banging away on the drums, or panting on my bike as I go for a ride.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the chance to go skydiving with my best friend on his 18th birthday. I never pegged myself as the type of person to do that, but I did and it was an incredible experience. It showed me that if you push yourself outside of your comfort zone you can have some rewarding experiences. That moment is part of the reason I am on Couchsurfing today.
