Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was without a permanent residence for quite some time which meant that I mostly slept on couches and floors. I love the experience. I love meeting new people and sleeping in new places.

Interests

My interests are broad, but all of them could perhaps boil down to essentially being an overarching interest in "art". I am interested in the art of writing, the art of music, the art of social experience and the art of new cities. I am interested in the artistic ways people live their lives; whether they actually create art, or simply live it in the way they work and talk. Exploration of a new place, the way I see it, is exploration of that place's art: the artistic way in which a city is realized.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now, my top three books are: Moby Dick, Thus Spoke Zarathustra and Invisible Cities. I think that anyone who reads those three books will be prepared to at least ask the questions that need to be asked; whether one finds answers or not is another question that probably should be asked fairly often.
