ABOUT ME
In March 2008 I decided it was time to get rid of everything and make a fresh start! Perhaps some travelling was next on the agenda. How?
I put my "entire life" up for sale on eBay!
More about that adventure at:
www.ALife4Sale.com
Although not quite as I hoped it would, my plan did work, and I made a completely fresh start, travelling the world for almost two years, trying to tick off some of the things on my life-list of goals.
More info, blogs, pix, video, and more at my website:

At the end of the journey I settled in Whitehorse, Canada in order to write the book, "A LIFE SOLD", about the whole adventure. This is now available at Amazon and other online retailers.

However, Whitehorse was a bit too cold for me in the winter, so I went to the Caribbean and bought a little island off the coast of Panama. My latest book, about the challenges of island life, can be found here:
www.ParadiseDelayed.com
Life has been pretty interesting here on the island, as we've recently had a couple of TV crews come to document our lifestyle here. English traveller and adventurer Ben Fogle stayed with us for a week to film an episode of UK TV show "New Lives in the Wild"
The episode can be viewed here:

Having lived on the island for over two years now I feel it is about time for more travel and adventure. Vanessa and I went to Houston, USA and bought an old RV which we drove around the southern states for six months. One of the highlights was hiking across the Grand Canyon!

We are now living in China for a year, teaching English to top up our travel funds.
PHILOSOPHY
I think that life is about adventure and experience, and I want to pack in as much as possible!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been travelling for the last six years, and have stayed with some wonderful people through couchsurfing.
I have been settled for a while, living on a little Caribbean island of the coast of Panama, where we have hosted a few visitors.
We are now living in Shenzhen, China and have a spare bedroom available. We're here until December 2015 when we will be traveling more in Asia.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have enjoyed staying with couchsurfers on Christmas Island, Easter Island, in Peru, Chile, Brazil and Iceland. I have met some fantastic people.
Through the publicity from both ALife4Sale.com and 100goals100weeks.com, I also had many invites from wonderfully kind people, and have made new friends all over the world over the past couple of years or so of travels.
