About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a laid back and adventurous kind of guy. I'm usually up for just about anything. Traveling and meeting new people and learning about how those people live their lives fascinates me.
Typically, you can find me shooting pool at a local dive bar or riding my bike around the city.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people of course! This world is a vast and interesting place. I find the way people live their lives and how they differ from my own, fascinating.
Interests
Nature! I can't get enough of it when I get out of this concrete jungle I live in.
I play in an amateur billiards league, which is usually the highlight of my week. I also love traveling and try to see as much as I can.
Also hiking, biking, cooking, working out, Chicago sports, and music festivals.

Music, Movies, and Books
I've been getting into some electronic music recently, but I like everything from rap to heavy metal to reggae. Also, Chicago has a great blues scene, so I take advantage. Gramatik, Nas, Led Zeppelin, Arctic Monkeys, just to name a few.
In terms of reading, I typically like action thriller novels, but also really like occasional biography. At the time of this writing, I'm reading "Catch Me If You Can" which is the autobiography that the movie is based from.
In terms of movies, I'll watch just about anything. Not all that into sci-fi or rom coms, but I'll give it a shot if you suggest it.

Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn. I also like to listen to people talk about something they are passionate about. So if you can teach me something that you are passionate about, all the better!
Also, I love cooking! I can teach you or learn from you! I would find joy in either.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My apartment is small, but if you're flying into O'Hare or talking the bus into the city (Greyhound/Megabus etc) it will be pretty convenient. I can't offer much, but I'll do what I can. I have a couch which pulls out into a bed.
