Music: I cannot live in a world without Lynyrd Skynyrd, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Blur, Oasis, Muse, Foo Fighters, Stereophonics, White Stripes, Travis, Blind Guardian, Angra, Creedence, Kodaline, Mumford and Sons, Radiohead, White Buffalo, ACDC, Black Sabbath, Of monsters and men, Alt-J, Nando Reis, Bob Marley, Matisyahu, Nenhum de Nós, Novos baianos, Paralamas do Sucesso, The Lumineers, and a lot more... music is my religion...

Books: Into the Wild, Life of Pi, Finding Everett Ruess, Outlander, Lone Survivor, The boy in the striped pajamas, The book thief , On the road and others Beat generation books. Absolutely everything from Bernard Cornwell and Neil Gaiman. Comic books and graphic novels... specially by Ed Brubacker, Scott Snyder, Alan Moore, Frank Miller(not everything, the guy is very extremist), Robert Kirkman, Neil Adams, Mark Waid, Sean Murphy, J. Michael Straczynski, Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, John Byrne, Mark Millar...

Movies: It is hard to tell, I consider myself a cinephile... but movies like Dead Poet Society, Midnight in Paris, Into the wild, Easy Rider, Across the universe, Mad Max Fury Road, Pride and Prejudice, V for Vendetta, The motorcycle diaries, Wes Anderson' Movies, Driver, The perks of being a wallflower, Elizabethtown, Almost Famous, Breakfast at tiffany's, The Secret life of Walter Mitty, The Fight Club, The wolf of wall street, Lord of the Rings trilogy and Star Wars (not exactly the second trilogy)... only to mention a few, they are very special to me... and I love comic book movies and nerd stuff...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen a piece of heaven on earth called Isle of Skye in Scotland!!!
I have walked the Great Glen way, West Island way and Three Lochs way in Scotland...
I hiked in the Lake district in England, South Wales and in the Northern Ireland coast...
I camped in the Sahara Desert...
I went snorkelling between two tectonic plates (Silfra fissure)... in winter... in Iceland... why not? ... And I also fell in love with the glaciers there...
I have been to other amazing and unique places like Morocco, Transylvania, the majestic Mosques in Turkey, the Danube River in Serbia, the mountains in Bavaria, Lençóis Maranhenses National Park in my home country, the historic cities in Italy, the blue beaches in Spain and much more... I consider myself a very privileged person, because I was able to see so much beauty...

I can give some photography tips, since I am an enthusiast of Landscape photography...
I would love to learn what people judge as ordinary things from their cultures... usually, it is not ...
I would like to share my travel stories and experiences all over the world...

What I Can Share with Hosts

My life has been an amazing journey from the small village in Brazil where I was born to my current life in Düsseldorf. I left my home when I was 13 in order to battle from the things I wanted for my life and that I would never be able to achieve if I have stayed with my family in that forgotten part of the world... there were a lot of adventures in between, which became stories that I love to share... besides as a friendship seeker I would do my best to build good memories with my hosts and guests...
