About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To do an amazing Eurotirp! :)

ABOUT ME

I'm an easy-going person, talketive and sympathetic. I do like to meet new people and know new places. What I like most when knowing a new place is to walk around the city. I think walking a lot I can know the city architecture, observe people and I also have more chance to be surprised by a good scene that I will photograph. :) My motto is: explore places and have a lot of fun.

PHILOSOPHY

There aren't reasons to be sad. If things didn't happened was you wish, it is because there was a better way and you couldn't see it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hang out and surf. Unfortunately, I can't host in my house now... :(

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Humm... I had a very good couchsurfing experience in Paris, a few days ago. I went there to spend my Christmas and me and a friend were hosted by Priscilla, our friend from Brazil. Priscilla wasn't able to go out with us every day, but, her tips were very good. Because of her we saved money, we learnt how to understand the underground lines rs and could enjoy more things than we supposed we would able to, because we were there for 9 days only. It was my first couchsurfing experience and I found it nice because of the exchange between guest and host.

Interests

Few things don't grab my attention. First of all, I like to take many pictures of the cities, the people and etc. Besides that I like to walk around the city during the day, in order to know the its landscape, its routine. However, I like going out at night more than the day. Not only to going to a club or pub, but also to know how beautiful is the city at the moon light. Museums, galleries, parks and good restaurants are always part of the trip plan.

Music, Movies, and Books

If there is a thing that I love to do is to listen music. Nowadays, a listen less than when I was young and I miss it sometimes. Rock is the music style that I listened most when teenager, so, I like it very much. The most remarkable bands are: Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon, Silverchair etc etc etc.
Now, I'm more flexible to musics and I can hear pop, jazz, MBP, indie rock... I like to know new types of music too. I'm open minded to it.

The movies which I can't forget are: Pocahontas, Mulan, The Lyon King, Mamma Mia, The Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain, Avventura, Night with Maud, Tropa de Elite, Cidade de Deus, Sweeney Todd, Friday Night, Black Swan, Requiem for a Drem... There are loads more.

And books are a passion too... I like romances, fictional stories, philosophy, sociology and anthropology mainly related to communication studies, books about marketing and advertising. The last book I read was "The Unbearable Lightness of Being", written by Milan Kundera. It is very good and I suggest it for everyone. It is a mix of philosophy with fiction and it make me think a lot about myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An amazing thing I have seen was the landscape of my city, Rio de Janeiro, from Sugarloaf Mountain. It was a sunny day and from there I saw the bay, Botafogo, Flamengo, Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, the Urca's Mountain, the Christ the Redeemer. Rio de Janeiro is such a beautiful city! It took my breath away. rsrsr

Another similar moment happened in Paris. I went to a ride in a funfair and I was able to see the Eiffel Tour upside down!! Uaauuu It was incredible! rsr
