About Me
Hello world travellers!
I am Iason (you can call me Jason if you prefer). This is my Facebook profile: https://www.facebook.com/jason.barbakantze
I am a student in the Democritus University of Thrace, Greece , in the Production and Management Engineering department. I am completing my studies this year in Greece and there is no better way to end this chapter of my life than to travel. This is why I did an Erasmus semester in Valencia, Spain in 2016, now I am back in Greece, and the reason that I am joining the Couchsurfing community!
I am friendly, relaxed and I for sure try to be as open-minded as possible. One message from me to the world out there: " Enjoy and Trust Nature "!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I always wanted to travel as much as possible to discover the world and live the life that I dream of but it did not seem easy to me nor did I have enough money to do it . However, I strongly believe that CS offers the perfect opportunity for me to discover new places and meet more interresting people.
Hopefully, Couchsurfing will help me become a better person, a more experienced one and will fill me with joy and happiness!
Couchsurfing experience: I joined the community of CS in 2016, while I was in Spain, but unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to experience CS, so I am still hoping to have a great time with my first host!
Interests
I love nature, forests, wildlife, all kind of sports (mostly basketball, bicycling and I recently started rollerblading...well we will see how this goes), visiting and exploring new places and getting lost into them. I also love all kind of animals and this is why I do not eat them or any of their products by the way (no insult or disrespect intended). I enjoy cooking and trying different recipes. I also play the violin and a little piano.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like listening country and jazz music. Latelly I love hearing the song " My girl " by The Temptations. Also, the last year I have started reading personal development books and my favorite one is " 7 habits of highly effective people " by Dr. Stephen R. Covey. Highly recommended!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook some delicious traditional greek recipes! I love enjoying a good, home-made, healthy meal with friends! We can also share our thoughts about the environment, our society and what we can do to remain FREE in this world...!
I can teach you the basics to start playing the violin, basketball, chess and even if you are interested we can talk about subjects related to my studies! I have a particular interest in whatever has to do with the human nature in a organization so I focus on Total Quality Management and Human Resources Management.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my love and enthousiasm about animals and my insights to human's true nature. But most importantly I hope we can share a great time together!
