About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To keep on finding new questions.

ABOUT ME

I can climb trees like no other. The wind makes my favorite sound. And I wish i could ride a unicycle.

School is my day job but I really like having my mates over, cooking up a feast, swapping new music, and seeing what the night has to offer. Other days I enjoy quietly watching a movie, or trying to finish that book i've been meaning to read.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm glad I exist.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm usually living in a place where almost nobody travels, so most of my participation is with other local couch surfers: potlucks and nights out, but we have had a few guests. Otherwise i surf a lot when traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Spent some time CFing around England. Then a lot of time surfing in France and some in Belgium. However, in Canada there are few people that travel to the places i live :(

Interests

Learning, cooking, brewing wine, discovering great new music, sports galore (Hockey, Volleyball, Down Hill mountain biking, snowboarding, rock climbing, etc.), Photography, Traveling, Reading.

Music, Movies, and Books

From my day - Xavier Rudd, DJ Champion, Feist, Broken Social Scene, Arcade Fire, Patrick Watson, Tool, Bright Eyes, The Postal Service, Modest Mouse, Sigur Ros, Bjork, Wintersleep.

If only I was born 30 years earlier: all the 60's goodness, Dylan, The Doors, Zeppelin

Books: Tom Robbins, Herman Hesse, Richard Bach, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, and well written non-fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was almost killed in India when a bus I was on was basically highjacked and then went on a speedy getaway. Hindsight: great experience.

I study medicine and I'd have to say delivering babies is one of the most amazing things to see........time and time again.
