ABOUT ME

I just graduated from college and am living and working in Kalamazoo and throughout Southwest Michigan as a gigging musician. I'm graciously fortunate to have travelled extensively around the United States and the world, but have developed a desire to just keep wandering! I love sharing experiences with other people and cultures and learning new things.

PHILOSOPHY

I realize and respect the philosophies of others in that they may differ from mine, because if everyone thought the same way, no-one would learn anything new! I also believe that love is an essential element of the human condition.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have at least one open couch at my home that I am willing to share, and would love to help bring couchsurfing to Western Michigan while I am living there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted Surfers numerous times... each time is a new amazing story! I have Surfed while on the Bike and Brew Tour of Southwest Michigan 2010 and had a blast while meeting really awesome people. And most cosmic of all, all 20 or so members of the Catawampus Crew that went to Burning Man 2010 with me were brought together by, you guessed it... CouchSurfing.

I've walked on a glacier, prayed at the Wailing Wall, stood at the foot of the treasury building in Petra, Jordan, watched the sun rise and the moon set over the shores of Lake Michigan, breathed the fresh air of the French Alps, waded in the warm Mediterranian of the Spanish Riviera and stood at the Great Gate of Kiev in Ukraine.
