Overview
About Me
I'm a Research Associate with a Ph.D. Degree in Social Policy and Senior Researcher in Conflict Management and Peace-building at Division of Social Policy and Social Care. I had worked in areas such as: human trafficking, refugees crisis, child welfare, health, immigrant settlement and disaster relief (Sierra Leone Red Cross and International Committee of Red Cross). I had been part of many networks, projects and research initiatives involving settlement, war trauma and victims of torture issues, in both in the United Kingdom and Canada. I'm specialised in war trauma and torture related counselling. I currently sit on the WRHA Immigrant and Refugee working group, member of MIRSSA Health/ Mental Health Committee and Manitoba Recovery Champions Committee and an associate member of QUALTRICA.

I love photography, music, hiking, and exploring. I love the outdoors and national parks. Also, enjoy nerdy things like museums and history. Love to sing and play the piano... and love to karaoke!!
Eating, and being spontaneous! Fitness is important. I'm always down for a bike ride. Disneyland groupie.
