Overview
About Me
A doctoral student in Maryland... Trying to be an interdisciplinarian... I am also a musician...
My personality and beliefs do not reflect my Turkish background at all... Most probably because I have travelled so much that I cannot feel connected to any nation or culture anymore... That is, I developed my own hybrid character... Also, sorry to disappoint those who think anyone from a "Muslim" country (a term I hate) is a Muslim, but you will have to get rid of those stereotypes... I am an agnostic... (and do not enjoy speaking about faith and similar topics... I just live the moment!
As for academics, I am into Media and Cultural Studies, and of course Popular Culture... We can definitely go into philosophical conversations about all those (if you like)... ;)

Teach, Learn, Share
I am an interculturalist and an interdisciplinarian (at least trying to be) ... I am not a regular Turkish guy... My past travels hybridized my identity, my ideologies, and my culture...
What I Can Share with Hosts
My music, my life-long experiences, academics, many things about Cultural Studies, Media Studies... and of course popular culture... (best part... we can either go into deep philosophical discussions about Popular Culture, or just forget about the academics and enjoy the Popular Culture...)
Btw, I am an open-minded person, a liberalist, definitely nonreligious...
