I would like to do some "slow" traveling; and host other travelers at our beautiful location in central NY

ABOUT ME

I am married over 30 years, and live with my terrific husband and best friend Roger. Our two adult sons left our nest years ago, and we recently became grandparents!

I love the outdoors: kayaking, hiking, gardening and just walking. I also love to experience new places and different cultures, ethnic food, art, dance, and music.

Roger and I both retired in January 2012, and we hope to do some slow traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new at couch surfing (signed up November 2011), but in the past our family hosted a Rotarian high school student from Chile; and a University student from Prague, in our home. Both are now like additional family members, and we stay closely in touch.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love gardening, and have extensive perennial flower gardens surrounding my home. I can share my knowledge with someone who visits provided it's the right season. Gardens here are dormant from October through April.

I also love doing watercolor painting, and making pine needle baskets.
