My name is Charlotte and I have a big love for travel. In the past 5 years I have travelled extensively - US, Australia, Asia, NZ and more. But now it is time to settle down for at least a little while and build a career!

I'm always happy to meet people though that are passing through my city! I have reunited with fellow travellers many years after we met and I always enjoy those moments immensely.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been on Couchsurfing on and off since 2010. I wasn't always in a position to host or surf but my opinion hasn't changed: I met some amazing people through this website while traveling. Some I'm still in touch with, some I've become close friends with and some I sent postcards from all over the world and so do they. The people who share the spirit of Couchsurfing bring the world together and make you feel at home, especially when you're traveling by yourself.

Interests

I'm an outgoing person and I enjoy meeting people, trying out new restaurants and cafes or having a few beers on a sunny patio. I also enjoy some alone time with a good book - I like to read about countries that I have yet to visit, learning more about global politics and cultures around the world.

I enjoy a lot of electronic music and indie. Currently playing Metronomy, SBTRKT, Walk the Moon and still some Imagine Dragons
Favourite movies always change but I'll laugh about anything that has Seth Rogen in it and I enjoy most of Tarantino's work.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving the beautiful Great Barrier Reef, hiking in NZ and the Grand Canyon have been some of my faves
