Overview
About Me
I'm originally from Hanoi, Vietnam, but went to college in the US for 4 years and now working in Tokyo, Japan. An easy-going, fun-loving person with a wanderlust, I seek to explore new dimensions of life and have unexpected experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling, making new friends, and learning about cultures.
Interests
I love having long intellectual conversations with people, as I can learn from their experience and viewpoints.
I've also been doing photography as a hobby and still working to improve. You can check out some of my works on Instagram @ichi.traveljournal

Music, Movies, and Books
Almost all genres of music, but some of my favorites are jazz, rock, and post-rock.
Favorite movies (at the moment): Mr. Nobody, Black Mirror series, Holy Motors, La cité des enfants perdus, Little Forest, Shinya Shokudo. I tend to prefer thought-provoking movies to merely entertaining ones.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking from Tokyo to Osaka on my first trip to Japan.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn anything from others and make lasting friendships. I've had a little experience living abroad (I've lived in 4 different countries now), so I'm willing to share my stories with anyone who's willing to listen.
I can teach you Vietnamese cooking and (some) Japanese cooking, as well as the basics of photography.
What I Can Share with Hosts
People generally say they enjoy talking with me, as I can keep up the conversation of any topic and also be a good listener.
