ABOUT ME

I'm a 22-year-old girl, i haven't traveled much, but I do love it when i get the chance to go somewhere I've never been.

I'm from Hungary, where I live quite a busy life. I guess some would say it's a boring one, since great part of it is attending two different universities, and doing homework for them. :D But when i have some freetime, I spend it with the best people on Earth. :D I sing in two choirs, which gives me quite a bit of extra work, as we have lots of practices and concerts, and we also like to spend our nonexistent free time together, so they really are like a family to me nowadays. :)
I live with my family, my brother, my mom and my dad. We live just outside of Budapest, which is nice for raising kids, but somewhat annoying for young adults, as it takes a lot of extra time to get home from anywhere, and also there's no night bus or train...

I think I must include here that I am quite chatty. :) I'm generally a happy, optimistic (maybe a bit cinical) girl, I love laughing. :)

I'm vegetarian.
I love animals, kids (no order here ;) ), languages... Really, i love talking about how my language works, and what differences there are between English and Hungarian, but I'd love to learn other languages too. I understand a bit of German, and just started French.
I like reading, although i can't say i have a great knowledge of books or literature, but I admire people who do, and I love history too. Again, I wouldn't say i know much, but listening to someone talk about it who really knows things is wonderful.

I've done a bit of CS in 2010, when i spent a summer in the USA. It was a really great experience, and although right now I can't provide a couch or a bed for travellers, I hope once I have my own place, I'll be able to join in fully :D

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm mostly at the recieving end of couch surfing. I live at home with my parents and brother, so I can't offer a place to sleep now, but when I finally get to move out, I'd like to be a more active member of this community. I really love the idea of getting to know people from different countries and background, so

Anyway I'm always open to meet people for a beer/tea/coffee and I'd show you around Budapest as best as I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent two and a half weeks travelling in the USA, and I was lucky enough to spend my nights at some really nice people's places, who helped me with ideas where to eat and what to see.
I'm also open to meet travellers in Budapest for a drink, or show them around a bit, although I am quite busy as of late.

Interessi

I'm interested in many things, both serious stuff and silly things... I love learning about new cultures, small differences or similarities, I love good food. I'm vegetarian, so that leaves out quite a bit from the culinary experience, but still i like tasting new food.
I love animals, kids, sometimes just listening to music alone, other times chatting with people, or going out for the night :)
I love history both local and global, it doesn't really mean I know much, but i still love hearing about things, i love stories, i LOVE singing (not saying i'm a good singer!) but i do love it so much it takes up most of my free time outside school.
I love living, smiling, laughing, nature (but I'm not too sporty, I should work on that....)

Musica, film e libri

I just had to find out i know fewer books than i'd like, that makes me feel bad, because i love reading. Anyway, if you like Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice, Atonement, we'll definitely have something in common, but I love poems as well, and generally I love literature and history or the mix of the two :) (but maths as well :) )
As for music, I basically can listen to anything, form Mozart (or Vivaldi) to Lady Gaga :)))

Nothing much yet, but life is ahead of me, and I'm willing to jump in headfirst :) Hope I won't hit myself really bad :)
