About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore new places! To learn new skills! To entertain new perspectives! And, occasionally, to be of some use!
ABOUT ME
I just finished college a couple of years ago with majors in Global Studies and Spanish. I love art, literature, good film. I love to travel when I can afford to. I feel purposeful about having a positive impact in the word and am committed to living ethically. I work for causes, including Local Foods, bicycle promotion, and climate change awareness. I try to live well and be healthy and am always on the watch for new ways in which I can engage this world. Sometimes, I find one!
PHILOSOPHY
I seek to live well and engage in this world on as many levels as possible. This requires that I travel, learn new things, meet new people, and meditate when I remember to. Aside from that I try to participate in the events on the world to have a positive impact. I want to foster positive behavior in others. This would include the desire to learn, the desire to be healthy, and the desire to engage and have a positive impact.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love many of Woody Allen's films (Stardust Memories, Play it Again Sam, Manhattan). I also love most films for which Phillip Glass has written the score (The Illusionist, Mishima). Oh, and I love Wes Anderson's films, a lot!
Lately, I've been reading smut, but I'm pretty well versed in and most appreciate the so-called classics. The Brothers Karamozov, Voltaire's "Candide", Kurt Vonnegut. I've also been reading a lot of non fiction to inform me about the issues I care about: bicycle advocacy, climate change, ethical and responsible food systems.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmmm...I've climbed Devil's Tower in Wyoming, though I think I took one of the easiest routes (which was pretty easy), truth be told.
I've seen the Mosquito Coast in Nicaragua.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can speak Spanish decently and love the opportunity to share this!
Rudimentary Music skills - I can teach some of the basics: scales, chords, yep, that's about it.
Basic Bike repair. If you happen to be touring through!
I know some basic yoga and love sharing it.
I can teach handstands and headstands to the brave and eager! Skills that I find indispensable!
I love sharing all of the above.
