ABOUT ME

The last thing I wrote on CS was "I handed in my resignation and now I'm (almost) ready to travel around the world" I tried, I traveled around for a while and yes, it helps, a lot! I wanted to change my life hoping that moving abroad could be THE answer...it worked, but in the way that I came back to Italy and realized that you can feel good also 10km far from where you were born. But I still want to discover new countries, meet people, enjoy them stories, trying any kind of jobs, make experinece and so on; I want to learn as much as I can from everything.
Life's short and there's so much beauty around worth going a long way to see. With the difference that now I want to travel to see the places and not for finding myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books (currently): Simon Reynolds'"Post Punk"an essay about music history from 1978 to 1984, "Taboo Tunes" by Peter Blecha, David Foster Wallace...and, above all, music magazines.
"Wuthering Heights" by Emily Bronte changed my life and I appreciated also the last one by Murakami. You have to read "Everything is illuminated" by Jonathan Safran Foer, all by Carver, Coupland and Jonathan Coe (some by Coe, not all, some...). Primo Levi. David Foster Wallace (again!) Any single phrase by Dostoevskij and Bulgakov...
Movies...uhm..."And he died with a felafel in his hand". Ah, "Annie Hall" by Woody Allen, I'm getting addicted with that movie! Wes Anderson, I'm pretty sure The Royal Tenenbaums is my favourite movie so far.
Music: All that 70's stuff (I'm not referring necessarily to the punk scene), Velvet Underground, The Strokes, and all the scene of New York (The National, Interpol, etc...), Arcade Fire, every single issue from the label Labrador (Sweden), Bright Eyes!!!!!, a bit of that rock coming from Britain in these days and much more...ah, all from CANADA!!!Definitely all from Canada!! And everything makes you sleep with a smile...
