ICYE (International Cultural Youth Exchange) as non-profit exchange organization provides global possibilities for voluntary work. Our programs encourage understanding and solidarity between people from different cultures.

Vision: ICYE connects people. Getting to know a different culture broadens the horizons and supports personal development. An exchange of awareness of global connections promotes the sense of social justice. ICYE accompanies this process.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

ICYE helps its Swiss volunteers to fulfill their dream of voluntary work abroad and bringing a change in everyday life of other people, as well as their own. We are also annually looking for host families for international volunteers that come to Switzerland to provide their voluntary work in here and afterwards, bring back the experiences to their home countries. We hope that through Couchsurfing we will be able to reach more people interested in participating in our programs, as volunteers or as host families.
