Overview
About Me
Hej! I am Ida and 21 years old. I study in Vienna. I love to travel and am always interested in new cultures and people.
In my summer holidays I am working and traveling most of the time. I love Interrail and going by train.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
You do not only travel and see the country but also learn about (from) the people and culture. I like the concept, when I am traveling I stay at peoples home and when I am at home I give it back and host people at my place.
Interests
In my free time I like being outside with my friends taking a walk on our near river-promenade, going hiking and I love climbing in the alps. A few times a year my family and I take our camping bus at long weekends and drive to a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains where I sleep under the open sky and enjoy the atmosphere. I like to connect with nature and feel free. I often go hiking in the near mountains in the spring and summer or go ski touring, skiing and snowboarding in the winter.

Music, Movies, and Books
One of my passions is music. I like singing and I play the cornet in my local orchestra and string bass in a synphonic orchestra. In my spare time I also love watching musicals, dramas and the opera. I enjoy concerts of various kinds together with my friends like classic, pop, rock or jazz concerts. I think that every style of music has its charme.
As much i like being outdoor - I love reading and just chill on the couch and watching movies. I am currently learning Swedish by reading books from Astrid Lindgren. (I love her books!) I like all genres exept horror. Especially old movies and books. Movies I like are Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, The Shawshank Redemption, Avatar, Billy Elliot, Captain Fantastic, Brother Bear, Les Choristes, Seven Years in Tibet, The King’s Speech, Robin Hood, ...
