About Me
hey there, i'm ida! nice to meet you. i finished school in spring and am now doing a year of volunteer work to find out what i'd like to major in in university or whatever you call that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
i've never actually done this before and am excited to make new experiences and meet new people. see you soon!
i think it's a nice idea to not just have a stay somewhere but with it meeting people who know the place, like, it's more personal? like you're visiting friends maybe.
Interests
at work my job is to make sure everything is running smoothly and to take care of our customers, in my freetime i like to meet up with people and visit new places although most of it is used for grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning.......and spending time with my flatmate.
i'm quite interested in hearing all kinds of stories, love to listen to people passionately telling stories.
when i have the time (and inspiration...two things that meet seldomly?) i draw stuff to relax. i can probably still do a paper crane? but that one might need some freshing up
- dogs
- socializing
Music, Movies, and Books
atm i'm reading 1Q84 by murakami since i really enjoyed reading norwegian wood. i don't think it's as good though :( last movie i watched is probably interstellar which i watched in a kind of open air cinema. what a beautiful experience, there were shooting stars...
the thing i'm listening to most rn is acid.milch&honig. other than that, i like to create playlists for friends consisting of songs like 'toxic' by britney or 'SOS' by münchner freiheit. great songs, u should check them out
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
walked around a big party-festival-ish thing with a new friend in search of other friends we went there with when suddenly fireworks started to explode above us and we just stood there going 'whoa..' 'ah did u see that one' 'I LOVE THIS KIND!' twenty minutes straight
Teach, Learn, Share
i enjoy things like folding paper stars, learning new jokes, teaching someone how to make noise with a straw of grass between your hands and blowing it! i have lots of animal pictures (dogs doing things etc) on my phone in case you need someone to cheer you up
What I Can Share with Hosts
i'm slowly getting into vegan cooking! so recipes. humm what else. my enthusiasm about things maybe, or a movie recommendation? i'm always up for lending an ear.
Countries I’ve Visited
