About Me

- Currently Growing -
After some life changing experiences in New Zealand, Thailand and at OZORA I now started my next chapter.
Fresh at uni, philosophising about the world we live in and overly excite to meet people who want to trade knowledge and experiences.
I love Yoga, I meditate, I sing whenever I feel like it. I am interested in Hippies and Non-Hippies alike. Friendship is a funny thing, maybe we can share it?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the experience of overlapping lives, even if it's just for a day, or a night.
My house and flatmates are wonderful open people and I would love to share that with people that are equally open and loving and full of stories to tell.
Please come and get me out of my Uni-routine and spice up my life. Hehe.

Interests

I'm very creative. And I love to spend time with other creative people. I enjoy music, art and reading. And learning new things!
I'm a huge fan of Yoga and Meditation and even better than doing it on my own is finding someone who wants to join.
I try to be surrounded by nature as much as possible, even though I'm sure we all know those lazy days where we only get out of bed to grab some food and then return to our favourite TV Show.
I'm Vegetarian, on my way to Veganism but still struggling with Cheese and Chocolate.
I enjoy baking and cooking. And eating (healthy). And being healthy in general.
I absolutely adore animals. Everything I can cuddle and cannot cuddle. So much love for all the creatures in the world.

I feel like I got carried away here. There are lots of things I like to do and I'm interested in. And I love talking about them. And listening to other's telling me about what they love!

Music, Movies, and Books

There's not much I don't like. I mostly listen to Alternative, Indie Rock and Reggae, but it's totally dependent on my mood. I love exchanging music it's one of my favourite things to talk about!

Same with Movies and Books. There are so many. How could you ever choose??
I like Birdman. And Despicable me. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. And Pride & Prejudice (the TV show please). Also My Neighbor Totoro (Everything written by Miyazaki really). Interstellar. (Yup. Entirely mood dependent)

Guess my favourite book at the moment - and also last read - has to be The Unlikely Pilgrimage Of Harold Fry. It's worth a read!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not quite making it to the public campsite but instead setting my tent up surrounded by Lupines near the river. (Also a million Sandflies)
One of the most beautiful places I've ever slept at. (Or not slept - Damn Sandflies)
Spending a months on a hippie farm in the Coromandel. Learning how to cook vegan for 40 people. Tramping for 14 hours and loosing two toenails ...

Teach, Learn, Share

I just love to meet people and share interests, music and stories. I can teach you some Yoga and baking :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a Sweet tooth. I won't come without chocolate.
Also some savoury cooking if there's time.

Wine or beer or whatever your heart desires. :P
