ABOUT ME

My name is Ida and I live in Sweden, currently studying. I'd say I'm a responsible and thoughtful person, but still relaxed and very friendly and open to meeting new people. I like talking and listening to what other people have to say, it's always interesting.

PHILOSOPHY

I realized after graduating high school that I'm now completely my own person with no other context than just being human. So I figure, make the most out of having the opportunity to live. Sure, everyone says that, but it's true, so I'll say it again.

Interests

I've just graduated from a high school with an art profile, so I'd say my biggest interest would be art in all forms, both creating things myself as well as see other people's works. I also play theatre in an ensemble as my hobby.

Besides art and theatre I'm very interested in languages and I'm known to always ask people who speak other languages about the grammatical structure, so be prepared, haha.

This fall I'm going to take some courses in Korean with the goal of working as an English teacher in South Korea. Teaching English is something I've wanted to do for a long time and mixing that with my interest for East Asian culture is something I've dreamed of.

Music, Movies, and Books

As vague as it may sound, I'm a true all-eater when it comes to culture. I enjoy anything from philosophical indie movies to chick flicks or piano sonatas to cheesy K-pop, I seem to find interest in most forms of media. I have to give special mention to the author Haruki Murakami and the musicians of Kent, Sigur Rós and Beirut, can't get enough of that.
