About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Take in all Seoul has to offer

ABOUT ME

I am a 4th year bachelor student of Anthropology and on the brink of starting a (temporary) new life in Seoul, where I will be doing a university exchange program for six months.
I am 22 years old and there are oh-so many things I enjoy doing. Ofcourse I love to travel, but I also love to dance, read, listen to music, meet new people etc. I have worked in a sneakershop as a sidejob for the last two years and I would say I really enjoy style and clothes.
I really can't think of a lot of other things right now, but ask me in person!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will be on an exchange in Seoul, South Korea for the next six months, living in a 8m2 bedroom, from where unfortunately I cannot host people. But as soon as I get back in Amsterdam I definitely plan on doing that!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience was 3,5 years ago in Asia. I tried to surf at as many places as possible and as a consequence I met some incredible people. Even though you might not always have a great connection with you host, most of the times its pretty awesome actually. And if you don't have a great connection, you will still have a good time. I never once had a negative experience surfing.

Interests

Dancing will always be my first love (it started out with ballet, but hiphopstyle choreography now has my heart)
And if dancing is my first love, fashion is my second.

Besides those two:
Asian cultures.
Oldskool/alternative hiphopmusic.
Copying Korean dance crazes.
Exploring new cities.
Meeting new people
Reading Haruki Murakami novels.
Watching violent movies.
Youth/popular culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bukit Lawang: Waking up in the middle of the jungle, drinking our tea riverside, since our camp was right next to the river. But walking 2 minutes anyway to a beautiful waterfall to take our morning bath.

Danceclass in Tokyo from my dancing heroes the Shitkingz!!
