About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Life.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 20 year old girl from Norway who is currently attending a photography and outdoor activity school in Lofoten, Norway. This is my year off after high school.
I've lived in Oslo for all of my life, but I've travelled quite a lot, mostly in Europe, but also in America. I love to travel, see new places and cultures and meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just learned about couchsurfing from a friend of mine who is doing a photography project, couchsurfing in eastern Europe. I found the project very interesting, and I think it is wonderful that people are kind and trusting enough to let people into their homes.
Me and my friend (Viktoria on the picture above) are planning an interrail around Europe this June and are eager to try couchsurfing.

Interests

Photography, outdoor life (skiing, hiking in the mountains), friends, books and movies, basketball, sitting at a café with a cappuchino and a book, watching people pass by, trying out new things (especially those things that scare me), writing, dreaming

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to be a total Harry Potter freak. Which basically means that I know all of the seven books by heart now. But even though I still think the Harry Potter universe is wonderful, I've moved on, trying to read other things now.
I love it when I find good books in Norwegian because I've noticed that the spark of the language tend to disappear when books are translated.
I do, however love The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zaphón and The House of Spirits by Isabel Allende. I'm sure there are others, but I don't have the patience to write down everything.

When it comes to movies, these are my favourites:
Eternal Sunshine of the Spottless Mind
Amélie
Garden State
Reprise (Norwegian)
The Lion King (I love Disney!)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom
