ABOUT ME

I'm in my late 40s, with a wife and 3 kids (14, 9, and 9 as of late 2009). We live a normal life in SE Idaho - hiking, climbing, and camping in the summer and skiing in the winter. I am also the host for the local Drinking Liberally chapter - another wonderful organization (http://livingliberally.org/drinking/chapters/ID/idahofalls)

PHILOSOPHY

Liberal principles guide my life: help others when they need it, and accept others as they are. Everyone has something to contribute - even it it's just good conversation.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I once traveled to Maui and hiked from the airport to the nearest beach. Two guys were living there, and they welcomed me into their camp. Their wives had kicked them out, and they were enjoying themselves and making a living by fishing/netting off the beach. I spent 3 days with them and had a great time. I say that counts as couchsurfing, even if it wasn't official.
