Overview
About Me
I love meeting new people and learning about other cultures and ways of life. I play soccer, rock climb, camp, hike, backpack, frisbee, yoga, snowboard, and whatever you might wanna teach me I'm usually up for it—I've taken 12 hip hop dance classes but still need to learn salsa and tango... When I'm not being active, I like to take advantage of the "Live Music Capital of the World" and go see a show, or bar hop, or burrow in a dive bar with cheap beer and billiards, or when I'm especially lazy it's video games and movies.
I just bought a Honda Grom and started weightlifting, so any knowledge or interest in those arenas are greatly appreciated—I can never learn enough.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want a local to show me why their home is the best! If I'm not working for my stay, I would prefer to couch surf rather than stay in a hotel, hostel, or Airbnb for that reason. BUT, who would I be if I didn't return the favor? If you're on this site, you've probably got a travel bug like me, so come crash at my place and we'll have some fun!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quit a great job to travel and work on farms in exchange for room and board (workaway.info) for 6 months. Best thing I've done in my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you visit me in Austin, I can take 2 free guests a month to Austin Bouldering Project, the indoor rock climbing gym, to climb/do yoga/work out/sauna, and I'm happy to show you how it's done!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love Austin and love showing it off, so come stay on my couch! We have amazing Mexican food (breakfast tacos aren't as much of a thing in much of the rest of the States, but they are amazing and we eat them a lot) and BBQ, live music, cold natural springs and trails to enjoy the mostly hot weather.
And I'm told I'm calming, as in calm to be around. So if you're feeling stressed I suppose I'm a good person to slow down and talk through things with.
