About Me

Traveling for me is to explore, both the world and my place in it. Meeting people is fascinating, and from my time as a cruise ship worker I have had the opportunity to make friends from all over the world. I hope to get more of them.

Until fall I am in my home town, Stockholm, but after that I will leave for Cologne, Germany for an exchange semester (if anyone is looking for a flat mate I'm totally interested!).

I'm currently doing my master degree in International Business, but I wouldn't really consider myself a business person. I prefer the nature to the office, and the existential conversations to the latest stock market news. I like to meet people with a story different from my own, to exchange experiences and perhaps gain a little bit of wisdom on the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, this is a place to meet other travellers, to explore cities from a local perspective and to make it affordable to experience the world.

Interests

Exploring and widening my perspective!

Or more objectively said; Meeting people, seeing cultures, go on roadtrips with my bike, read novels that make me understand something about myself, and some diving or hiking when given the opportunity!

Music, Movies, and Books

More of a reader than a movie fan (I have seen Game of Thrones though), but where to start? So many fascinating books that's been written. However, one favourite is probably The Blindness by José Saramago.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Other peoples view: Worked as an ice skater on a cruise ship in the Caribbean.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you stuff about almost every Caribbean island (well, as long as it has a name), about figure skating (you know, in an ice rink), about Sweden and finally about quite a few management theories related to gender, group dynamics and motivation.

I'd love to learn more about philosophy, any type of literature and languages! All types of languages, but at the moment German is a big interest of mine.
