About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be a great father, husband, and friend. Travel widely. Learn, teach, and share experiences.

ABOUT ME

Spontaneous! Loves talking to strangers and finding common adventures. I enjoy deep discussions over coffee or a glass of wine.

PHILOSOPHY

Most people don't get what they want because they aren't willing to experiment enough and ask enough people for help.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm open to meeting strangers. One stranger-turned-friend invited me to train for an Olympic distance triathlon. That was fun. I'm curious how some people click quickly and others don't. I'll be paying attention to that as I surf and host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't connected with anybody through the site yet, but have hosted a couple of gals cycling across the USA. They recommended CS and had some great experiences here.

Interests

I'm interested in doing things I haven't yet done. I'm interested in trying things and co-creating with great people anywhere.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love great stories. I especially love being a part in a great story. Couch Surfing could certainly be part and parcel to this desire.

I love Brazilian music, classical, rap, country, live, techno - all kinds.

Books, I have hundreds of books. Most I've read, many I just use to be inspired by.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing people do things like riding their bikes cross-country without too much planning. (Nod to Amanda Rae and Erika). Craigslist Joe (the movie) was an awesome documentary that reminds me that we'll take care of people who are sincere.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy learning crafts, cooking, music, computers. I can teach quite a bit and enjoy co-creating.

I've been a student of business and marketing for many years. I love brainstorming ways to quit an unwanted job and survive on existing skills.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Canada, China, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

Brazil, Mexico, Taiwan
