I was born and raised in Istanbul Turkey. I left Istanbul when I was 19 and came to the United States for University of Oregon. I've been living in Eugene, Oregon since 2011. I lived in New York for 3 months. I like traveling, sailing, swimming, photography, buildings, museums, art, music, reading, theaters and movies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like traveling. My goal in life is to travel at least one new place each year since I am 17 and haven't fail to do so to this day. So proud!

Interests

I study architecture, so I like buildings and anything remotely related to architecture. I enjoy art, music, sailing, swimming. I like meeting new people, but I am an introvert so I have a hard time to actually initiate the conversation but I like keep talking once somebody starts talking to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled Europe twice by train. I slept on the ground in front of the Bordeaux Train station.

I biked to my hostel in Amsterdam without having a map or an idea where I am going in the middle of the night (the bus was over:(. I just followed the bus stops that I took earlier that day.

I slept in Paris Airport because I didn't have any place to stay. I didn't have anything with me because the something airlines lost my bag. It was really cold at the airport and I used hand dryer in the bathroom to keep myself warm.

I managed to see at least one new city each year since I am 17!
