ABOUT ME

So... about me.. mmm..

Next to my full time job, I'm studying to be a foot reflexology plus therapist. The plus stands for the combination of Chinese and Western filosofy and techniques. If you're interested and want to know more about this subject, just ask.

I love to travel, and I have this huge list of places I want to visit. I like to meet new people but the Dutch saying: "De kat uit de boom kijken" describes me a little to well sometimes.
Literal translation: "Looking the cat out of the tree".
Meaning: Rather than jumping into a situation, one waits and sees how things work out.
English equivalent: "See which way the wind blows".

Luckily, that's not always the case ;)

To be honest.. Not much lately, but I'm trying to change that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience was a reiki course I took in Utrecht. The atmosphere was so good! I really liked all the people who were there with me to experience and enjoy reiki.

In may 2009 I went to Amiens and Paris for a week and I couchsurfed there. It was a great experience :D

Interessen

Music, books, movies, theatre, sauna, experimenting in the kitchen, trying out new things, travel, writing, blogging, people, singing (I'm not good at it, but I love it), dancing (same as singing I'm afraid ;) ), laughing, dreaming, massage, tai-chi, sailing, gaming, board games, and the list goes on and on, what about you?

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Movies: I'm in love with the movies :D Sometimes I just plan a weekend with friends and have a movie marathon. My favorite genre is sci-fi, but you can also make me happy with a good action movie, comedy or detective.

I also love to watch tv-series like stargate, doctor who, true blood, and so on. You should see my SideReel profile.. Sometimes I think I watch a little to much tv ;)

I just love those goofy guys :D Ok, I must admit it isn't my favorite music, but that is because I can't choose! I can listen to rock, reggae, classic, spiritual music, house, pop, r&b, and so on... Just love music

Books: Like with movies and music, I like a lot of diferent genres with books. My favorite genre is the urban fantasy. I'm a big fan of Kim Harrison, Charlaine Harris and Laurell K. Hamilton. I also like to read and learn from spiritual books. Like Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, Rhonda Byrne, Laurie Cabot, Susan Smit, Patty Harpenau, and so on
