My name is Ida and I have been growing up in the North part of Sweden but live now in Helsinki since 6 years back in time.
Even if I am dreaming about living a simple life in the forest someday, I am quite happy I can now enjoy museums, concerts, performances, classes in dance, circus, yoga and meet people.
I enjoy traveling (even if I am not doing it so much.. yet), meeting ,for me, new persons and listen to their stories about life. I think I always find something to learn from during those meetings.
I also enjoy doing small unplanned things. Life gets more interesting in that kind of way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love this. Meeting new people, share stories and experiences, get and give information about places and offer somebody a place to stay. It's amazing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2014 I went to Portugal for Boom festival and I loved it. The atmosphere there is amazing and full with care and lovelovelove. It felt like a paradise.

I was also hiking the High Coast trail. It was a great experience, since it has been a dream to me to walk the whole trail close to where I have been growing up. I loved it, saw many rainbows, a badger and fantastic views all the time.

When I was in Czech Republic me and my friend went in a policecar, since we were a bit lost, but don't worry, it won't happen again ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want, I could teach you some Swedish ( even some Finnish) during your/my stay. Maybe some tricks with the hoop aswell.
I would like to learn almost anything, except things about cars and business, haha. Tell me stories about your life or dreams if you want, it would be great.

I love to create things with my hands, drawing, painting, writing, sewing, crafting for example bracelets or whatever. If you visit my place you are welcome to use some of my material and the few tools I have. (but for the moment all my stuff is elsewhere)
